I’m an East Bay guy from San Leandro and so I’ve been worked all over the Bay Area and I love shooting photography in San Francisco, but my family was looking for a change during the pandemic so we moved to Petaluma two years ago and there is no turning back.  Now we are 30 minutes from Doran and Dillon beach, 30 minutes from beautiful wine country in Sonoma and beyond, and of course we have regional parks everywhere in the North  bay which are absolutely gorgeous and are the perfect location for Family photography.  

This session with Emilie and Eric’s family is one of my favorites;  located at Shiloh Ranch Regional Park in Windsor California.  This location is surrounded by vineyards, native plants and oak trees.  We picked a perfect day with plenty of Sunshine (cloudy days are a “no go” for my style of photography), and it doesn’t hurt that the kids are adorable (they had a blast playing with Mom and Dad).  

If you want family photography and you’re in the North Bay, just choose a regional park that is close to you and you’re good to go.
